WAYS TO EXPERIENCE THE WORK
Nature Gatherings
Small group walks and seasonal gatherings around Wānaka and Lake Hāwea.
These are unhurried experiences rather than destination walks.
We slow down, walk quietly, notice through the senses and spend time with the plants and places we encounter.
There may be periods of silence, simple sensory invitations, herbal tea and time to sit with the living world.

Slow Nature Walks
A gentle invitation to slow down, step away from the busyness of everyday life, and reconnect with the living world around you.
You don’t need any previous meditation experience. You don’t need to know what to do. There is nowhere to get to and nothing to achieve.
These guided walks invite you to move at the pace of noticing — to listen, sense, and become more present with the landscape you are walking through.
Through simple invitations inspired by sensory awareness, mindfulness, and nature connection, we explore a different way of being outdoors. Rather than walking through nature as something separate from ourselves, we begin to experience ourselves as part of a larger living relationship.
You may notice the feeling of your feet on the earth, the movement of air across your skin, the sounds around you, the changing light, the plants and trees that share this place with us.
Each walk is an opportunity to pause, receive, and reconnect — with your senses, with yourself, and with the more-than-human world.
Suitable for anyone seeking a slower, more meaningful experience in nature. No experience required.
Come as you are.
Slow Nature Walks are guided through the principles of Relational Presence™ — a practice of cultivating awareness, connection, and responsiveness through direct sensory experience.
a portable practice of belonging.
The Little Box of Nature Connection
A companion for continuing your relationship with the more-than-human world
A small collection of invitations to slow down, listen, and remember that you are part of nature.
Intention
After a guided forest walk, many people return home touched by something subtle — a deeper quiet, a sense of connection, a moment of noticing. But modern life quickly pulls attention away.
This little box offers simple ways to keep that relationship alive.
Not through doing more, but through returning again and again to presence.
